The Wave is a Pioneer Baptist Church, and we are thrilled to be part of the Littleham community!
We LOVE Littleham — its people, its stories, and its spirit. We’re passionate about building genuine community, supporting those in need, and creating a place of safety and belonging for all. We believe God calls us to love our neighbours, to stand together through life’s challenges, and to help one another discover our full potential.
We believe God’s heart beats for Littleham — that He longs to see every person here flourish. So if we can offer practical support, we will.
If we can walk alongside those exploring faith and what it means to be human, we will.
If we can listen, encourage, and create space for people to be who God made them to be, we will.
And if we can inspire people to live life to the full, we absolutely will.
We gather twice a month — on the 1st and 3rd Sundays — at our wild forest space, where we share food cooked over the fire, explore the outdoors, pray, and talk about what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.
We believe that food is sacred — it nourishes not just our bodies, but our spirits and our connections with others. Jesus often shared meals as a way of building community, and we follow that example. That’s why we run activities focused on growing food, sharing food, preventing waste, and making sure no one goes hungry.
We are proud to be both a Fair Trade Church and a Gold Eco Church, because caring for creation is part of our worship. We believe the earth is a gift from God — to be protected, cherished, and passed on in beauty and abundance to our children and future generations.
Ultimately, The Wave is a Pioneer Church — ever evolving, ever listening, and ever responding to the needs of our community and to God’s leading. As Littleham grows and changes, we will continue to grow with it, discovering together the shape God has in mind for this place and His people
