The Wave is a Pioneer Baptist Church that is super excited to be a part of the Littleham Community!

We LOVE Littleham and are passionate about building community, supporting those in need and being a place of safety. We believe that God calls us to love our neighbour and that means standing together through all the challenges of life and helping enable to community to reach their full potential.

We believe God loves and cares for the community and wants to see the people in Littleham thrive and so if we can be a practical support then we will be, if we can support people as they explore faith and what it means to be human then we will, if we can answer questions and give people space to be who they are made to be then we will and if we can help people to step out and live life to the full then we will. 

We run ‘Church’ services twice a month on a Sunday afternoon through faith around the campfire and cafe church which is an opportunity to explore faith and understand what I means to be a follower of Jesus.

We believe that food is vital not only for our physical needs but also for our spiritual and mental needs, Jesus often met around food and spent time eating with people as it is such an amazing way to connect with those around. As a result of this we run 3 projects based around growing food, eating food, providing food and making sure that food doesn’t go to waste.

We are a fair trade church and an eco church as we are committed to looking after this planet that God has given us and we want to make sure it is cared for and will be be a place of beauty and inspiration for us now but also for our children and those who come after us.

Ultimately The Wave is a Pioneer Church, and therefore, the shape it takes will develop as the work develops and as God reveals to us His plans for this estate.
